About The Role
eShocan LLC is seeking a Full-Stack Developer for a position based in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will build and enhance modern applications, working across user interfaces, backend services, data platforms, and enterprise integrations. You will use React, GraphQL, SQL, and cloud data technologies to deliver features that are reliable, secure, and maintainable. The role is suited to an experienced engineer who can navigate large codebases, investigate complex issues, and work effectively with technical and nontechnical partners.
You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and designing solutions to implementation, testing, code review, and ongoing improvement. Success requires strong hands-on development skills, sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to balance delivery needs with quality and long-term maintainability.
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 10 years of professional React development experience, along with 7 years of GraphQL and backend development experience and 5 years of BigQuery experience. Strong proficiency in SQL and practical experience with Node.js, Go/Golang, or Python are required. You should be comfortable developing and integrating REST APIs and working in large, established codebases.
Experience with GitHub workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, and constructive code reviews is important. You should bring strong debugging skills and experience creating or maintaining integration tests. Familiarity with PostgreSQL or MySQL is a plus. Experience with enterprise authentication and identity management, including SSO or MFA using Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, OAuth2, or SAML, is also a plus. Candidates should be able to communicate technical decisions clearly and collaborate across teams.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive application features using React and appropriate backend technologies. Build and support GraphQL services, REST APIs, and integrations with internal and external enterprise systems. Work with BigQuery and SQL to query, transform, and support data used by applications and reporting workflows. Contribute to database-backed development, with consideration for performance, consistency, and maintainability.
Investigate defects and integration issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes. Develop and run unit and integration tests to help ensure dependable releases. Participate in GitHub-based development workflows, including creating branches, submitting changes, reviewing code, and coordinating work across a large codebase. Apply secure development practices when working with authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, and enterprise identity providers. Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, estimate work, communicate progress, and deliver solutions aligned with business needs. Help improve development practices, documentation, system reliability, and application performance.
