Harrington Starr is working with a globally recognised fintech software company specialising in market data and subscription services to recruit a Software Engineer for their Belfast team. With a focus on upgrading and enhancing their existing technology, they are looking for a developer with a strong Java background who is interested in modern software development and emerging AI technologies.

**Key responsibilities:**

- Strong commercial experience in Java development

- Knowledge of microservices and modern software architecture

- Experience in both front-end and back-end development, with React being advantageous

- Familiarity with APIs, system integrations and market data

- An interest in artificial intelligence, with previous experience in AI-related projects being beneficial

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a technical team
