About the opportunity

Together Devs is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join alfred, a fintech company building products on top of payments and financial operations. You’ll work across the full stack, from React frontends to the backend services, APIs and integrations that move money reliably.

This is a hands-on role for an engineer who is comfortable in production, cares about data integrity, and understands that in payments “almost correct” is a bug.

What you’ll do

• Build, maintain and improve frontend applications and backend services.
• Design and run APIs, services and background jobs that support alfred’s products and financial operations.
• Integrate with third-party APIs, payment providers, banks and other financial platforms.
• Keep payment-related systems reliable, secure, scalable and fast.
• Own database design and guarantee data integrity across financial transactions.
• Monitor production, troubleshoot issues and ship improvements.
• Write automated tests, review code and support deployments.
• Work with Product and Engineering to turn business needs into technical solutions.

What you bring

• Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js and React.
• Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs and backend services.
• Solid SQL skills, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs, including webhooks, error handling and retries.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP or Azure, plus Docker and CI/CD.
• Experience with automated testing, debugging and production support.
• Good grasp of application security, data integrity and reliable transaction processing.
• [Advanced/fluent] English.

Nice to have

• Background in payment processing, banking integrations or financial transaction systems.
• Experience with idempotency, transaction reconciliation and asynchronous processing.
• Exposure to compliance integrations such as KYC/AML.
