About the Role

The company is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of features and products across the frontend and backend. You will work closely with product, design, operations, finance, external partners, and customers to understand requirements, develop prototypes, and deliver reliable production systems.

This role requires strong product judgment, an MVP-focused approach, and the ability to work across user experience, backend systems, API design, and database architecture. The technology stack includes TypeScript, React, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana. You will be involved throughout the product lifecycle, from initial prototyping and launch to ongoing improvements and iteration.

The company prefers candidates located near Eastern Time and also welcomes candidates in Pacific Time through ET+2. Regardless of location, working hours must substantially overlap with Eastern Time business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of product features across frontend interfaces and backend infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and finance teams, as well as external partners and customers, to gather requirements and define solutions.
• Prototype quickly and deliver customer-facing features from initial concept through production launch and subsequent iteration.
• Build and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript and React, alongside reliable backend services.
• Design, develop, document, and maintain REST APIs and modern authentication workflows.
• Work with relational databases and SQL to support application functionality and data management.
• Apply an MVP-focused approach to scope milestones, deliver solutions, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Maintain clean, reliable code and implement automated testing practices.
• Develop production systems with a focus on high availability and minimal ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with design partners to implement Figma-based interfaces while contributing product and usability feedback.
• Work directly with customers and external partners on integrations, requirements gathering, and iterative feature development.
• Contribute to application performance improvements, latency reduction, and service-level reliability.
• Support containerized application development and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Use monitoring and observability tools, including Prometheus and Grafana, to support system reliability.
• Contribute to event-driven architectures and blockchain integrations where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of fullstack development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript and Node.js, along with a modern frontend framework; React is preferred.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver production-ready frontend and backend systems with high uptime and minimal maintenance requirements.
• Strong product instincts and an eye for good design, with the ability to work from Figma files and provide constructive feedback.
• Experience working directly with external partners and customers on requirements, integrations, and iterative product development.
• An MVP mindset, with the ability to scope milestones, deliver solutions, learn from feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Strong commitment to clean code principles and automated testing.
• Deep understanding of API design, versioning, documentation, and modern authentication patterns.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across product, design, and operations teams in remote, asynchronous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments and taking on a broad range of responsibilities.
• A track record of prototyping and launching customer-facing products rather than exclusively internal tools.
• Familiarity with performance profiling, latency reduction, and service-level adherence.
• Experience designing and operating event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Interest in building tools that improve how people work with money and financial systems.
• Hands-on experience building crypto products, including working with onchain libraries and services and integrating with blockchain infrastructure.
• Experience integrating with blockchain node software, such as Geth or Solana validators.

Work Environment
