About The Role

Stefanini is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Livonia, MI. This role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting web services, webpages, APIs, and microservices within the Recall Suite of Applications. The ideal candidate will be a core team member responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable, efficient, and innovative software solutions. You will play a vital role in ensuring software engineering excellence by adhering to best practices, participating in code reviews, and contributing to the overall architecture and design decisions. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an agile environment, leveraging modern technologies and cloud platforms to deliver high-quality products that meet client needs and expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in software engineering, architecture, and agile methodologies.
• Extensive experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and/or Angular.
• At least 3 years of experience working with modern relational and non-relational databases.
• Proven expertise in developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and API development.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, Terraform, Maven, Gradle, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks including Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit 5, Mockito, and Spring Boot Test.
• Knowledge of code quality and formatting tools like SonarQube, ESLint, Prettier, and Checkstyle.
• Experience with design patterns, SOLID principles, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment using tools like JIRA, backlogs, iterations, and user stories.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core member of the engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web services, webpages, APIs, and microservices for the Recall Suite of Applications.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to integrate services, perform testing, and manage deployments, ensuring seamless interoperability and reduced complexity across the product portfolio.
• Implement best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, architecture reviews, and adherence to quality standards.
• Participate actively in Agile practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups, utilizing tools like JIRA.
• Make key design decisions that influence the overall architecture and scalability of the applications.
• Ensure the development of robust, scalable, and secure software solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by refactoring legacy code, optimizing performance, and enhancing maintainability.
• Work collaboratively with UI/UX designers, product managers, and technical specialists to deliver user-centric solutions.
• Implement and advocate for test-driven development (TDD) and eXtreme Programming (XP) practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continually enhance the development process and product quality.
