About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer with expertise in Node.js and React to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable, high-quality web applications with a focus on both frontend and backend components. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience working with React and TypeScript on the frontend, along with solid backend experience using Node.js, familiarity with SQL databases, and exposure to microservices architecture. While experience with mobile frameworks such as React Native, Kotlin, or Swift is a plus, it is not mandatory. The role requires a self-sufficient, communicative, and passionate developer capable of making product decisions, meeting deadlines, and collaborating effectively with remote teams. Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development with React.js and TypeScript
- 4+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js
- Proficiency with SQL databases
- Experience with Java or TypeScript is helpful
- Knowledge of SOA/microservices architecture
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Nest.js, Prisma, TypeORM, Remix is a plus
- Experience with HTML, CSS layouts, and UI component design (Tailwind, Tachyons, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Self-sufficient with the ability to make product decisions based on short descriptions
- Overlap of at least 4 hours with US Mountain Time (9am-5pm)
- Passion for learning and building innovative solutions
- Optional but advantageous: experience with React Native, Vue.js, Shopify, cloud platforms like AWS, Digital Ocean, Vercel, or Heroku; freelance project management experience; experience with Next.js, Deno, or similar frameworks
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Implement UI components, layouts, and responsive designs ensuring optimal user experience
- Develop and optimize backend services, microservices, and APIs to support frontend functionalities
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure code quality and performance
- Contribute to technical documentation and best practices for development workflows
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to meet project milestones and deadlines
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly and effectively
- Share knowledge and mentor junior team members when applicable
