Role Description This full-time, on-site Software Engineer role is based in Findlay, OH. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software
applications, with a focus on building reliable and scalable back-end systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, reviewing and optimizing existing code, troubleshooting and resolving
technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into
technical solutions. The role also involves participating in code reviews, contributing to architectural decisions, documenting
technical work, and ensuring software quality through
testing and debugging. The engineer will work closely with stakeholders to deliver features on schedule and support continuous improvement of development processes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar).
- Hands-on experience in Software Development, including designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining applications.
- Practical skills in Back-End Web Development, such as working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, unit testing, and basic security best practices is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work on-site in Findlay, OH on a consistent schedule.
