Role Description

The Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Assisted Development) will design, build, and maintain web applications across the front-end and back-end stack, using AI-powered tools to increase both development speed and quality. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, building and integrating APIs, modelling and querying data, optimising performance, and delivering responsive, accessible, and secure applications.

Claude Code is central to how we work. The engineer will use it daily, direct it with clear and well-structured prompts, and review its output with the same care they would apply to a colleague's pull request. Prompt engineering is a core skill in this role, not an optional extra.

The engineer will collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to translate requirements into well-structured, testable code, and will take part in code reviews, technical discussions, and the continuous improvement of our development practices. The engineer will also deploy and maintain their own work on AWS.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Beirut, requiring regular presence at the office and close coordination with the local team.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with experience delivering production-ready web applications. The ability to learn an unfamiliar stack quickly matters more than existing depth in ours.

• Proficiency in Front-End Development with React, modern JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

• Experience in Back-End Web Development with PHP, building APIs and integrating services.

• Practical experience with PostgreSQL, including PostGIS and pgvector, and with Redis for caching and queues.

• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Terraform, including deploying and maintaining infrastructure as code.

• Daily hands-on experience with Claude Code or a comparable AI coding assistant, together with the prompt engineering skills to use it well. Applicants without production experience using AI coding tools will not be a fit for this role.

• Working knowledge of security best practices, including safe query handling, correct secrets management, and least-privilege access. Specialist security depth is not required.

• Solid understanding of web standards, performance optimisation, and responsive design.

• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Beirut, communicate clearly, and contribute to an inclusive, team-oriented environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Prior experience in a similar full-stack role is highly beneficial.
