About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Applications Developer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and development for web-based solutions utilizing a broad spectrum of network technologies. You will work independently to design, develop, and maintain applications that serve both internal stakeholders and external clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern web development frameworks, cloud platforms, and best practices in application security and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead technical initiatives, influence architectural decisions, and contribute to innovative digital projects that impact the community and organization at large.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered)
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web application development and support
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a related discipline with 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience working within structured SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Industry certifications such as AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and ITIL Foundation are preferred
• Strong knowledge of modern programming languages including Angular, NodeJS, .NET/C#, JavaScript, Java, Python, and PHP
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with relational and cloud databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Firebase, and Azure Storage
• Proficiency in Azure services including Web Apps, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Data Factory, and Data Lake
• Experience with AWS services like Elastic Beanstalk, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Glue, and S3
• Ability to work effectively in Windows, Linux, and Unix environments
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development processes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical assistance and support for web applications utilizing diverse network technologies and platforms including Angular, .NET, WordPress, Webflow, CGI, multimedia systems, and data modeling tools
• Research, evaluate, and implement new web technologies to enhance service applications and improve system performance
• Design, develop, and build web applications using internet and Windows development tools, ensuring scalability and security
• Create comprehensive design documents, test plans, and test results to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
• Manage, develop, and integrate application components, including front-end maintenance, technical support, and documentation
• Establish and communicate standards to optimize costs and ensure application continuity and security
• Independently manage technical workstreams, making decisions on procedures, resource allocation, and project timelines
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements, ensuring solutions align with organizational goals
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure all solutions adhere to security, compliance, and operational standards
• Participate in full SDLC activities including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Work with external vendors when necessary to develop tests and ensure feature functionality
