About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack JavaScript Developer (MERN) to join an exciting project based in Lisbon. You will be part of a collaborative development team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of modern web applications built using the MERN stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js).
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces with React.
• Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Create, manage and optimise MongoDB databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing applications with the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js
• Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of software development best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
