About the Role

FE.Oi is seeking a Frontend Engineer to build and maintain user interfaces for web applications. This full-time, remote position focuses on creating responsive layouts, integrating front-end components with back-end services, optimizing application performance, and ensuring compatibility across browsers.

The engineer will collaborate with designers and back-end developers, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and help refine product requirements. The role also involves maintaining code quality and accessibility while improving the overall user experience across products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interfaces for web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Build responsive layouts that provide consistent experiences across desktop and mobile devices.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services and APIs.
• Optimize application performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end engineers to deliver end-to-end product features.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Apply accessibility standards and best practices when developing user interfaces.
• Help clarify requirements and translate them into practical front-end solutions.
• Troubleshoot interface issues and resolve technical problems.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in application quality and user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Strong front-end development skills, including experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Experience in web development and responsive web design, with an understanding of accessible, mobile-friendly interfaces.
• Software development knowledge and familiarity with back-end web development to support collaboration on end-to-end features.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git, testing practices, and modern build tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
