Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable applications, improving existing systems, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to technical decisions that support business objectives.

The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing software products.

Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development & Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
• Build and optimize backend services, APIs, and software components.
• Review code contributions from team members and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.

System Design & Architecture

• Participate in designing software architecture and technical solutions.
• Make recommendations on technology choices, frameworks, and development approaches.
• Develop systems that support high availability and large-scale usage.
• Identify areas for improvement within existing systems and drive technical enhancements.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Design.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Promote engineering excellence through knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Participate in technical discussions, planning sessions, and architecture reviews.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure applications meet business requirements and technical standards.

DevOps & Deployment

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Monitor application performance and contribute to system improvements.
• Support production environments and participate in incident resolution when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience designing and developing scalable applications.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Experience working with databases, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
