About the Opportunity:

The SOFTWARE ENGINEER, PLATFORM ENGINEERING, is responsible for designing, developing, and scaling full-stack applications and backend services that support the organization's operations and AI infrastructure. This role involves end-to-end ownership of features and systems, contributing to platform reliability, performance, and developer experience. The position is critical for ensuring that the software solutions evolve effectively as the organization grows.

Responsibilities:

• Build and scale full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Own features and systems from architecture through production.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Design and optimize databases, data models, and queries.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams to implement solutions.
• Enhance platform reliability, performance, and developer experience.
• Make technical decisions balancing speed, quality, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve existing systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience in early-stage engineering teams within high-growth startups.
• Proven ability to build and scale products.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and an AI-native engineering mindset.
• Experience taking products from concept to production.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms such as AWS, and backend architectures.
• Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity.
• Problem-solving orientation with a focus on delivering results.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base salary, equity compensation, and potential performance-based bonuses are offered, subject to company policies.
