Senior Web Developer — Beirut, Lebanon 🇱🇧

This position is based in Beirut, Lebanon, with a hybrid work setup (Achrafieh Offices).

Role Description

This is a full-time Senior Web Developer role based in Beirut, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Senior Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications that support Tick'it's core products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end interfaces of the Tick'it platforms, building and optimizing back-end services, integrating third-party APIs, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability.

The role also involves collaborating with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, reviewing code, mentoring developers, and contributing to architectural decisions.

The Senior Web Developer will participate in planning, testing, and deployment activities to ensure reliable releases and continuous improvement of the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of React experience with strong TypeScript skills and production-ready applications.
• Strong Next.js experience, particularly App Router, Server/Client Components, server-side authorization, data fetching, caching and revalidation.
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, APIs, databases, and scalable back-end systems.
• Experience with transactional products, including pricing, currencies, sale windows, time zones, checkout, and complex event states.
• Experience building interactive SVGs and graphics, including hover states, selection groups, and custom interactions.
• Experience with responsive, accessible, high-performance interfaces, including mobile and WCAG best practices.
• Experience with i18n / RTL (English & Arabic) and cross-origin iframe / postMessage communication.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO: Metadata API, Open Graph, canonical URLs, Schema.org/JSON-LD, sitemaps and Google Search Console.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, linting and type-checking.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build secure, scalable and maintainable systems in a fast-paced startup environment.
