• Build across Golang, TypeScript, AWS, Kubernetes and modern DevOps tooling
• 12-month contract + 12-month extension
• Must be an Australian Citizen with Baseline clearance - NV1 desirable

Work across the full software development lifecycle in a hands-on engineering role combining application development, APIs, cloud infrastructure, containers and CI/CD.

You'll solve complex technical problems across new systems, applications and integrations, with the autonomy to make sound engineering decisions while collaborating closely with technical, project and quality teams.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and building complex APIs and integrations using technologies such as Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST and GraphQL
• Developing cloud infrastructure in AWS, including Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Building containerised applications for Kubernetes using Docker and Helm
• Developing accessible applications using React and TypeScript
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, participating in code reviews and working closely with QA to embed testing earlier in development

About You

We're particularly interested in:

• Golang and JavaScript/TypeScript, including complex API development
• AWS and Terraform
• Kubernetes, Docker and Helm
• React and TypeScript, including reusable components, state management and API integration
• DevOps and CI/CD tooling including GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory and HashiCorp Vault
• Accessible web development and familiarity with WCAG standards
• Experience with React Native, PostgreSQL/MySQL or automated testing would also be highly regarded.
