Role Overview: You will work across the full stack on the Threat product team, developing browser extension code,
backend services, and
data pipelines to detect
security threats related to
SaaS applications. Your focus will include building systems to identify shadow AI activities, such as employees pasting sensitive
data into chatbots.
Key Responsibilities
- Own feature development from detection concept to production, including extension, backend, and pipeline code
- Build and maintain browser content and background scripts, backend services, and data ingestion pipelines
- Collaborate with security researchers to translate threat intel into detection mechanisms
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions to improve team quality
Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of software development experience across multiple areas
- Deep understanding of browser internals, DOM APIs, event loop, and SPAs
- Experience building browser extensions with knowledge of message passing and manifest v3
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and willingness to work with Rust
- Experience handling large-scale data, event streaming, and high-throughput pipelines
- Knowledge of backend technologies like APIs, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Kafka
- Ability to work independently and proactively

- Experience with AI security issues, prompt injection, or data exfiltration
- Background in detection engineering, SIEM, or security operations
- Contributions to security tools or security-focused development
