2. About the Opportunity:
The Software Development Engineer is responsible for designing and developing software applications and platforms that support the organization’s digital initiatives. This role contributes to improving healthcare processes by enhancing application functionality, performance, and reliability, directly supporting prescription, claims, and related healthcare activities.
3. Responsibilities:
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements
• Determine feasibility of solution designs and prepare technical documentation
• Upgrade existing software to improve functionality, performance, and maintainability
• Write and review high-quality code; perform unit and automation testing
• Develop and deploy application components, support unit testing and bug fixes
• Participate in Agile Scrum meetings and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes
• Support applications, systems, and databases related to healthcare operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on development, code review, deliverables, and quality assurance
4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Five years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience in relevant roles
• Five years experience with: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; PL/SQL; Unix and Linux; Java, Python, or Node.js; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Agile methodologies or SAFe principles
• Experience writing application code and deploying to production
• Knowledge of relational database concepts
• Familiarity with software development best practices
• Contribution to large-scale applications, data science, or data analytics projects
• Use of Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• $147,680.00 to $158,620.00 per year base salary
• Eligibility for bonus, commission, or short-term incentive programs
