About the Company

Figma provides a collaborative design platform that helps teams turn ideas into products. Its tools support brainstorming, prototyping, translating designs into code, and improving workflows with AI. Teams use Figma to collaborate in real time, streamline product development, and bring ideas to life from anywhere in the world.

About the Role

Figma is hiring experienced Full-Stack Software Engineers to join teams across its Growth and Monetization Engineering organization. The organization includes Growth, Billing, Enterprise, and Discovery teams, each working on products and systems that help millions of users, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, get more value from Figma.

Depending on the team, you may work on global billing infrastructure, secure enterprise access systems, product discovery and organization, or product-led growth and monetization initiatives. You'll build and scale reliable, secure, and intuitive systems while partnering with teams across the business to support Figma's continued growth, global expansion, and evolving product needs.

This is a full-time position available remotely within the United States or from one of Figma's US hub offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and ship high-quality features across the technology stack using tools such as TypeScript, React, Ruby, Go, C++, and other technologies.
  • Own key areas of the product that influence user experience, internal productivity, or revenue operations.
  • Work with product, design, data science, support, and sales teams to shape product direction and solve complex problems.
  • Operate and monitor the systems you build, maintaining a strong focus on reliability, security, performance, and user experience.
  • Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture through mentoring, constructive feedback, and knowledge sharing.
  • Help develop systems that support Figma's growth, global expansion, and the needs of enterprise customers.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • A track record of shipping and maintaining complex systems or products in production.
  • Full-stack development experience with modern front-end frameworks, such as React and TypeScript, and back-end technologies, such as Ruby, Python, Go, and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B SaaS, billing or payments infrastructure, developer platforms, or enterprise-scale systems.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Stripe, Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, SCIM, SAML, or WebAssembly.
  • Experience with experimentation, observability, compliance automation, or internal tools development.
  • Experience building extensibility platforms, including plugins, APIs, or widgets, or contributing to open-source developer communities.
  • An interest in creating excellent developer and user experiences, with an emphasis on elegant, maintainable architecture.
  • A willingness to learn, mentor teammates, lead initiatives, and share knowledge through code reviews or pairing sessions.

Figma encourages candidates to apply even if their experience does not align with every qualification listed. The company values curiosity, continuous learning, and professional growth, and candidates may be a fit for this or other roles.
