Remilia is building a consumer social platform where the social graph, long-form content, real-time chat, and a virtual economy operate on a shared
data model.
We're looking for software
engineers who move fast and care about craft, and are interested in joining a small team with end-to-end ownership — you may work on identity/auth, APIs, content systems,
database architecture, client UI.
The
engineering problems are interesting: graph queries on a relational
database, real-time presence, content systems that outlive their feeds.
Stack is intentionally boring technology, modular monolith:
Go, SQLite,
TypeScript/
React.
You have:
- A portfolio of interesting work
- Experience shipping features end to end
- Founding-engineer or 0→1 experience on small teams
Background or interest working in any of the following:
- Real-time systems (WebSockets, fanout, presence)
- Systems programming (C/C++/Rust)
- Relational schema (data modeling, indexing, query design)
- Media pipelines (upload, processing, delivery)
- In-game social systems, chat, community, or UGC products
Not this role: platform
engineering, distributed systems, SRE, AI/ML research.
