🚀 Senior / Staff Full Stack Software Engineer (AI)

💰 $220,000–$300,000 Base + Equity

We're working with one of the fastest-growing AI-native software companies in the US that's building next-generation products powered by Large Language Models, AI Agents, and distributed systems.

This is an opportunity to join a small, high-calibre engineering team where you'll own major technical decisions, build production AI features, and work on complex engineering challenges that directly impact customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build and scale customer-facing products from architecture through production.
• Develop high-performance backend services using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build modern React applications with an exceptional user experience.
• Design scalable APIs, distributed systems and cloud-native services.
• Build and productionise AI-powered features using LLMs, RAG and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver high-quality software.
• Improve platform reliability, observability and developer experience.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across the platform.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript.
• Experience building production full-stack applications.
• Strong backend engineering skills with modern cloud architectures.
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience building or integrating AI-powered products using LLMs.
• Product-minded engineers who enjoy owning projects end-to-end.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Staff or Principal engineering experience.
• Startup or VC-backed company background.
• Active GitHub or open-source contributions.
• Platform engineering experience.
• Infrastructure or SRE experience.
