Role Description The AI Full Stack Developer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Kathmandu, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining AI-enabled
web applications across both front-end and back-end layers. The developer will collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable
technical solutions, integrate AI models and APIs, and ensure robust performance and
security. Daily tasks include writing clean and maintainable code, implementing responsive user interfaces, optimizing databases and server-side logic,
testing and debugging
applications, and participating in code reviews. The role also includes documenting
technical solutions, monitoring production systems, and continuously improving the technology stack to support Sunkoshi’s digital and AI-driven services.
Qualifications
- Strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience building end-to-end web applications.
- Proficiency in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive UI.
- Solid Back-End Web Development experience with server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database design.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models or APIs into web applications (e.g., Python, Node.js, or similar environments).
- Comfort working in hybrid setups, collaborating both onsite in Kathmandu and remotely using modern collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of web security, performance optimization, and best practices in software architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in HR tech, recruitment platforms, or international workforce solutions is an advantage.
