Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Web Developer role based in Bahrain. The Web Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining responsive websites and web applications, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance. Daily tasks include implementing front-end and back-end features, integrating APIs and third-party services, and collaborating with designers and product stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient, scalable solutions. The role also involves debugging issues, optimizing code, maintaining documentation, and participating in code reviews to uphold quality and security standards. The Web Developer will work closely with the wider team to support releases, enhancements, and ongoing improvements to client and internal platforms.
Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience building responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and familiarity with component-based architecture.
• Solid understanding of server-side development (e.g., Node.js, PHP, .NET, or similar) and working with RESTful APIs and data integration.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL), data modeling, and basic query optimization for web applications.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git), collaborative development workflows, and code review practices.
• Familiarity with web performance optimization, accessibility standards, security best practices, and cross-browser testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment in Bahrain.
• Good communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders; ability to document work clearly.
• Experience with CMS platforms, cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure), or DevOps practices is an advantage.
