About The Role

The Frontend Engineer builds responsive, accessible web applications that serve as the primary interface for user-facing products. The role owns features from technical design through implementation, testing, rollout, and ongoing performance improvements using React, TypeScript, and modern web platform APIs.

The engineer will work closely with product, design, backend, and infrastructure teams to turn complex workflows into fast, reliable experiences. The work includes establishing frontend architecture, integrating GraphQL and REST services, and improving usability across desktop and mobile web surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship production features with React, TypeScript, and Next.js across customer-facing web applications
• Design reusable component systems and frontend architecture that support consistent interaction patterns and efficient product development
• Integrate GraphQL and REST APIs, handling loading states, caching, errors, authentication, and optimistic updates
• Improve application performance through code splitting, server-side rendering, bundle analysis, Core Web Vitals monitoring, and efficient state management
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright
• Partner with product designers and backend engineers to refine requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver cohesive user experiences
• Review code, document technical decisions, and contribute to standards for accessibility, security, observability, and frontend development workflows
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 3–8 years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial ownership of production frontend applications
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern React development patterns, including hooks, component composition, and state management
• Hands-on experience with Next.js or a comparable React framework, including routing, rendering strategies, and frontend build tooling
• Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and working effectively with authentication, asynchronous data, error handling, and browser storage
• Demonstrated understanding of web performance, responsive design, cross-browser behavior, semantic HTML, and WCAG accessibility practices
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: Experience with design systems, React Native, WebSockets, Storybook, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, or observability tools such as Datadog and Sentry
