About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the design and user interface of the Supermicro website, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. You will analyze web application reports to identify areas for improvement and participate in the revamp and migration of existing tools, leveraging AI technologies to automate processes and optimize workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, experience with API integration, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. You should have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience with front-end web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.js or jQuery. Additionally, you should have 3+ years of experience in integrating RESTful APIs and developing multi-page web applications. Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony, relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL, and web servers including Apache, Nginx, or IIS is essential. Knowledge of mobile development, SEO best practices, and familiarity with ASP.NET and server technologies such as ColdFusion are considered advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of software development best practices, be quick learners, adaptable to complex environments, and capable of working independently or collaboratively as needed.

- Design, develop, and enhance the functionality of web applications while maintaining existing websites to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Create comprehensive reports for training, tools, and web analytics, and analyze these reports to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Leverage AI technologies to automate routine tasks, improve workflows, and support tool revamps or migrations, including the transition from Drupal to newer platforms.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and display problems to maintain high website reliability and usability.
- Participate in the ongoing migration of core systems and tools, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, optimize existing functionalities, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance skill set and contribute to innovative solutions.
