Job Title: Remote Entry level Full-stack Engineer

We build software that digitises the workflow of alternative investments for institutional investors and asset managers. Our mission is to give our clients control over the investment process through the use of our platform.

We are a growing company with leadership that has a track record of success. Our company is based out of NYC, but our technology team is 100% remote. We currently have engineers based in North America, South America, Europe and India.

Requirements

• Hands on experience with: React, Node JS, PhP
• JS, HTML, CSS Framework
• Database: PostgreSQL (Advance Enterprise Version of SQL), MySQL
• AWS — good to have
• 2-3 years of experience in the field is preferable
• Experience in API design and development.
• Understanding of libraries including Backbone.js and jQuery.
• Developing front-end website architecture which includes designing interactive, responsive, and dynamic web pages.
• Developing back-end applications, databases and servers for creating a highly functional website.
• Troubleshooting, suggesting improvements and debugging
• Staying well-informed about the current developments in the world of web development, learning about emerging concepts in full stack, and updating project leaders regarding the same.
• Working with team members of different expertise to provide a user-friendly and smooth website application as an end-result
• Ensuring the safety and security of the website/ application/ software developed.
• Meeting with decision-makers and introducing new developments to the project to ensure optimal web development.
• Developing Application Programming Interface (APIs) which is quite indispensable when it comes to working with different software.

• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Should be able to work on a problem independently and prepare client ready deliverable with minimal or no supervision
• Good communication skill for client interaction
  
  

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas welcome to apply
• Application development experience
• Team Management
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
• Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
