About our client

We are currently working with a venture-backed SaaS platform building the operating system for workplace safety and compliance. Their platform helps HR and safety leaders get ahead of mental health risk at work — already trusted by ASX-listed companies, and now expanding into the UK, Canada, Singapore and NZ.

Our client is looking for a mid-level, product-minded Full-Stack Engineer to join their small engineering team, working closely with the CTO. This is a front-end-leaning role (roughly 60% front-end / 40% back-end) for someone who cares as much about how a product feels to use as how it's built — you'll have real input into UI/UX and product direction, not just execution.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building and shipping features across a Svelte (TypeScript) front end and Golang back end
  • Contributing to product and UX decisions — shaping the interface and overall product experience, not just implementing designs
  • Working on infrastructure using AWS and Terraform
  • Helping build AI-powered features, developed natively in Golang on top of AWS Bedrock
  • Occasionally working in Python for Lambda functions
  • Collaborating directly with the CTO and the wider founding team in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment

About you

  • Full-stack engineering experience, ideally within a SaaS product company
  • Strong front-end skills with TypeScript — Svelte experience is ideal, but strong Vue or React experience is absolutely fine
  • Comfortable working across the stack, including backend and infrastructure
  • A product-oriented mindset — genuinely interested in UI/UX and the end-user experience, not just code
  • Excellent communication skills — able to clearly articulate your thinking and experience
  • High ownership mentality, comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change
  • Mission-aligned — motivated by the idea of helping organisations look after their people

What's on offer

  • Competitive salary, plus meaningful equity in a business that's just closed funding and is scaling fast
  • Genuine autonomy and influence over the product — this isn't a role where you'll be buried in a large team
  • Hybrid working — just two days a week in office
  • The chance to work directly alongside the CTO and founding team at a critical growth stage
