Immersve.com enables holders of cryptocurrencies, tokens and DeFi / Game-FI earning; held in NFT wallets, exchanges or various protocols to leverage their holdings in local Fiat currency to spend at real life merchants or transact in the Metaverse with their Agents or Avatars.

Immersve will pioneer at pace, delivering features and integrations for a unified payment experience across web2 / 3 and the Metaverse.

The design is one of privacy first products and experiences that will be as decentralised as practically possible, with open source code, APIs and multi-chain protocols enabling anyone to extend or build on top of.

The Founders and backers are global VCs and internationally recognised leaders in this space. You will work directly with them and they will invest time to teach and support you.

The Role

As a Senior full stack software engineer you will be involved with designing and developing APIs, UIs, infrastructure-as-code and automated tests. You will be working with a growing team of experienced engineers in a highly-collaborative, remote-first environment based in and around Auckland, NZ.

• You are also an excellent coder who is keen on shaping technology and culture in a growing team. You are able to work independently in face of unknowns, taking initiative to reach out to stakeholders and expose requirements.
• You work comfortably full stack — from cloud infrastructure and database to APIs. You may not be familiar with all our tech stack but are interested in learning. You may have exposure or be curious about blockchain and smart contract development.
• You embrace a continuous delivery mindset — working in small batches, verifying the correctness of your work at each increment. You are comfortable contributing to high level technical designs and mentoring others.

Application Process

Three interviews, one coding task. First is a general interview, then the coding task. The second interview is technical, going over code from the task and discussing other technical questions. The third interview is a chance to meet some more of our team who you’ll be working with.
