Role Description As a Full Stack Engineer at Occer, you will design, build, and maintain web applications across both front-end and back-end layers. You will collaborate with product owners and designers to translate requirements into scalable, performant features, implement APIs, and integrate data sources. On a day-to-day basis, you will write clean, well-tested code, review peers’ code, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing functionality for reliability and speed. You will also participate in architectural discussions, contribute to technical documentation, and help improve development workflows and best practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nottingham.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, including experience working across both client and server sides.
• Strong Front-End Development skills, with hands-on experience in modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Solid Back-End Web Development skills, including building and maintaining APIs, integrating databases, and working with server-side frameworks.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of web application architecture, security best practices, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work on-site in Nottingham, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, or automated testing frameworks is an advantage.
