Full Stack AI Developer
Permanent | Fully Remote | UK
Build AI into a product that's already being used. AI is moving quickly, but there's a big difference between experimenting with AI tools and integrating AI into software that solves real business problems.
I'm working with an innovative law firm on a permanent Full Stack AI Developer opportunity, working on an AI-powered platform that's transforming how legal claims processes are handled.
The product is already in use, and the team is now expanding its capabilities, improving the user experience and integrating more agentic AI into the platform.
If you're a developer who enjoys solving complex problems, having a say in technical decisions and getting hands-on with emerging technology, this is worth a look.
What will you be working on?
The business has developed an AI-powered legal claims platform that combines specialist industry knowledge with advanced technology to carry out different legal processes.
Its capabilities span areas such as claims analysis, financial transaction analysis and fraud assessment, with further AI-driven functionality in development.
The focus now is on taking the platform further: building new capabilities, improving how users interact with it and integrating AI tools that deliver practical, measurable results.
This isn't a speculative AI project or a conventional software development role with an AI label attached. You'll be contributing to a live product with plenty still to build.
What you'll be doing
You'll join a small, collaborative engineering team and work across the development lifecycle, from technical refinement and solution design through to testing, deployment and ongoing support.
Your responsibilities will include:
You'll work in two-week sprints, with genuine scope to influence how solutions are designed and delivered.
The technology
The existing environment includes:
The team is also exploring image analysis and further ways to expand the platform's capabilities.
You don't need to have worked with every technology listed. A strong development foundation, relevant experience with the core languages and a genuine interest in agentic AI are the priorities.
Essential experience:
Particularly useful:
The team is interested in what you've actually built, how you approach problems and why you've made particular technical decisions — not a CV full of buzzwords.
The team and culture
You'll report to the Head of Software Engineering and join a small team of developers, testers and product delivery specialists, with access to the wider business.
It's a friendly, collaborative environment where people are encouraged to share ideas, challenge technical approaches and learn from one another.
The team values people who are comfortable expressing an opinion, thinking independently and remaining open to alternative perspectives.
You'll have ownership of your work, input into technical decisions and the opportunity to contribute to how the product evolves.
What's on offer?
The interview process
Stage 1 — Experience and problem-solving
A conversation focused on your development experience, how you approach problems, your ability to think critically, and how you operate in a fast-paced environment.
Stage 2 — Technical interview
A deeper technical discussion covering your coding skills, development languages and the practical application of AI solutions.
Interested?
If you're a Full Stack Developer with strong C# and JavaScript skills and a genuine interest in agentic AI, I'd be keen to speak with you.
You don't need to be an expert in every part of the AI stack. A solid engineering foundation, curiosity and an understanding of how AI can solve real problems are a great starting point.
