Are you an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer looking for an opportunity to help modernise a business-critical platform, influence technical direction and contribute to a major transformation from an ageing Java desktop application to a modern web UI supported by new REST API services?

We’re looking for a talented developer with strong experience across C#, .NET, React and TypeScript t. This is a hands-on role with a strong backend focus, with .NET C# likely to make up around 70–80% of the role, alongside React-based UI modernisation.

You’ll design and build modern web applications, develop scalable backend services and APIs, and play an important part in shaping architecture and technical design decisions.

Role

• Designing and developing modern web applications using .NET, React and TypeScript.
• Building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Working with PostgreSQL-based systems and relational databases.
• Contributing to architecture, technical design and engineering best practice
• Applying modern software practices, including Clean Architecture and Vertical Slicing, to support maintainable and scalable development.
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Taking part in code reviews and supporting continuous improvement.
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, project managers and subject matter experts.
• Working in an Agile environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Skills

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience developing modern web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• A good understanding of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, testing and maintainable code design.
