ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is looking for an experienced AI Agent Full Stack Developer to design, build and deploy intelligent AI-powered applications and autonomous agent systems.

You will work across the AI, backend and frontend stack, turning business requirements into scalable AI solutions. This is a hands-on development role for someone who understands both modern software engineering and the practical implementation of LLMs, AI agents and automation.

The ideal candidate is highly technical, curious about emerging AI technologies and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop and deploy AI agents and AI-powered applications
• Build full-stack applications from backend services through to user-facing interfaces
• Integrate LLMs, APIs, tools and external data sources
• Develop agent workflows, orchestration and automation
• Build reliable APIs and backend services
• Develop responsive and intuitive frontend interfaces
• Implement RAG, vector databases, embeddings and knowledge retrieval
• Integrate AI solutions with existing business systems and third-party platforms
• Test, debug and optimise AI agents and applications
• Monitor AI performance, reliability and scalability
• Maintain clean, secure and well-documented code
• Stay current with developments in AI agents, LLMs and generative AI
  

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• Hands-on experience developing AI agents or AI-powered applications
• Strong Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript development skills
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js
• Strong backend development and API integration experience
• Practical experience working with LLMs and AI APIs
• Experience with RAG, embeddings and vector databases
• Understanding of agent frameworks/orchestration tools
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Strong Git and software development practices
• Experience building and deploying applications to cloud environments
• Strong problem-solving and debugging ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  

ADVANTAGEOUS

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic or other major LLM APIs
• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Docker and containerisation experience
• AWS, Azure or GCP experience
• CI/CD and DevOps experience
• Experience building production-grade autonomous agents
• Experience with AI evaluation, observability and guardrails
• Experience integrating AI with SaaS platforms and business workflows
  

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You are a hands-on builder who enjoys solving complex problems and experimenting with new AI technologies. You understand that building an AI agent is more than simply connecting an LLM to an API — you can design the surrounding architecture, tools, workflows, integrations and user experience required to make the solution work reliably in production.

You are comfortable working across the stack, take ownership of your work and can operate effectively without constant supervision.
