About The Role
Jobrapido is seeking an Associate Full-Stack Engineer with 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience. This role is suited to someone who enjoys building products, solving technical problems, and using AI tools to work more effectively. You will contribute across frontend and backend systems, helping transform product ideas and requirements into reliable, production-ready software.
We are language- and framework-agnostic. We welcome candidates with experience in a range of modern technologies and place greater emphasis on sound engineering fundamentals, end-to-end application understanding, and effective use of Claude Code. You should be comfortable incorporating Claude Code into your regular development workflow while applying your own judgment to the code it helps produce. This is an opportunity to grow as an engineer, take ownership of features, and learn through collaborative product development.
Qualifications
You have 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally building and maintaining full-stack applications. You understand both frontend and backend development, including APIs, databases, and core application architecture concepts. You have hands-on experience using Claude Code for real software development, such as exploring codebases, implementing changes, debugging, or writing tests.
You can assess AI-generated code critically, validate its behavior, identify potential issues, and understand the code you are preparing to ship. You are familiar with version control, testing, debugging, and collaborative development practices. You bring strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to work independently while communicating clearly and asking questions when needed. You are willing to learn unfamiliar technologies, experiment thoughtfully, and take responsibility for work from implementation through delivery.
Our technology environment may include Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go, Ruby, React, Node.js, and other modern languages and frameworks. No specific language or framework is required. We are interested in your ability to adapt, understand systems, and apply Claude Code effectively alongside reliable engineering practices.
Responsibilities
Build, enhance, and maintain full-stack applications across user-facing interfaces, backend services, APIs, and databases. Use Claude Code to accelerate development, navigate unfamiliar code, investigate issues, write tests, and implement features. Review and refine AI-assisted output to ensure that it is correct, secure, maintainable, and appropriate for production.
Work with engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into practical technical solutions. Troubleshoot bugs, investigate root causes, improve application performance, and contribute to software quality and reliability. Share progress, incorporate feedback, and help identify opportunities to make development workflows more effective through responsible AI-assisted practices.
