DIMIYA Tech is looking for an experienced Front End Developer with exceptional React and CSS skills to join our team and work on a large-scale enterprise digital platform.

We are looking for someone who combines strong front-end engineering capability with an excellent eye for UI detail, responsive design and consistency.

You will work closely with developers, designers and other members of the digital team to translate designs into polished, high-quality customer-facing web experiences.

Please note: This position requires full-time presence in AU time 9:00am – 5:00 pm AEST (5 days per week) fully remote

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using React, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Build and maintain web experiences using Contentful CMS
• Develop high-quality interfaces using advanced HTML5, CSS3 and SCSS
• Translate Figma and UI designs into accurate production interfaces
• Build responsive, mobile-first web experiences
• Create reusable and maintainable React UI components
• Ensure consistency across different screen sizes, devices and browsers
• Implement front-end solutions in accordance with WCAG accessibility standards
• Optimise front-end performance and Core Web Vitals
• Work within established design systems and component libraries
• Support web deployment workflows using Netlify
• Participate in peer reviews and maintain high front-end coding standards
• Work collaboratively with UX/UI designers, developers and QA teams

Technical Skills

Essential:

• Strong commercial experience with React
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with Contentful CMS is beneficial or other CMS platform experience
• Advanced HTML5 / CSS3 / SCSS
• Excellent responsive and mobile-first development skills
• Strong understanding of CSS layouts including Flexbox and CSS Grid
• Experience building reusable component-based user interfaces
• Ability to accurately translate Figma/design specifications into production UI
• Strong cross-browser development knowledge
• Understanding of accessibility and WCAG
• Front-end performance optimisation and Core Web Vitals
• Git and modern development workflows

Highly Desirable:

• Netlify
• Algolia
• Experience with enterprise design systems and component libraries
• Experience working on large-scale or high-traffic consumer websites
• Automated front-end testing experience

You are a front-end specialist who cares about the details.

You can look at a design and translate it into a polished, responsive web experience while maintaining clean and reusable code.

You have particularly strong CSS skills, understand how modern websites behave across different devices and browsers, and can work effectively within an established React and Contentful environment.
