About the Role

Join a team building high-quality software across the full stack—from cloud-native services and APIs to intuitive front-end experiences. You'll partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape technical direction, solve complex problems, and mentor teammates. We embrace a "you build it, you own it" culture, where teams are accountable for what they deliver from design through production support.

What You'll Do

  • Lead technical design and development of full-stack features for OEC's SaaS products
  • Build scalable back-end services, APIs, integrations, and front-end experiences supporting customer workflows across the automotive parts and repair ecosystem
  • Partner with architects and engineering leads to make sound, pragmatic technical decisions
  • Facilitate design discussions, weighing trade-offs to balance quality, maintainability, and delivery
  • Break complex work into clear, deliverable increments to drive predictable execution
  • Write clean, maintainable, testable code and model strong engineering practices
  • Champion secure, performant, observable, and resilient system design
  • Leverage automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and operational feedback to continuously improve quality

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
  • 6+ years building and shipping full-stack applications, including:
  • A modern back-end language/framework
  • Front-end development with React, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server)
  • Automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong grasp of SaaS architecture, API design, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native development
  • Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction without formal authority
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Strong prioritization and time management in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Adaptability amid shifting business priorities
  • A genuine commitment to owning software end-to-end
