Responsibilities and Duties 

• Full-stack development: backend NodeJS + frontend ReactJS. 
• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS/Aurora, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.). 
• Set up and monitor monitoring/observability (Rollbar, Datadog, CloudWatch Alarm, etc.). 
• Optimize system & database: query tuning, indexing, caching, scaling. 
• Be on-call 24/7 on a rotation basis, handle production incidents, and write root cause analysis. Join off-hours on-call/bridge calls during emergency incidents, commonly occurring between 06:30 AM – 08:30 AM. 
• Ensure CI/CD, security best practices, backup & disaster recovery. 
• Apply AI tools into the SDLC (Copilot/Claude Code/Cursor, etc.) to accelerate coding, code reviews, test case generation, and documentation. 

Qualifications 

Required Qualifications: 

• 3-5+ years of Full-stack experience, strong proficient in NodeJS + ReactJS. 
• Hands-on AWS experience: designing and operating infrastructure independently
• Database experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Aurora): optimization, indexing, troubleshooting. 
• Experience using AI tools in the SDLC. 
• Good communication skills in English (both speaking & writing). 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in product companies, operating high-traffic/large user base systems with high uptime SLAs. 
• Knowledge of Mobile React Native (to collaborate within the full-stack team). 
• Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins, etc.). 
• Experience working with clients from Singapore, Japan, or in an ODC (Offshore Development Center) environment. 
• Knowledge of Japanese/Chinese is a plus. 

Soft Skills: 

• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills (especially during production incidents). 
• Team player, proactive, high ownership, and a product-oriented mindset. 
• Familiar with working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
