2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer - Product will contribute to building and enhancing backend and full-stack systems that deliver exceptional banking experiences. This role involves taking ownership of product development within a collaborative team, partnering with designers and product leaders to create products that resonate with users. The position is integral to advancing the organization’s fintech solutions and improving customer satisfaction.

3. Responsibilities:

• Take end-to-end responsibility for full-stack product features and actively shape technical and user-facing project outcomes

• Collaborate closely within a small, highly autonomous, and agile engineering team to rapidly iterate on codebase enhancements

• Partner directly with product designers and product managers to prototype, build, and deliver high-quality, intuitive user experiences

• Contribute effectively to specialized product engineering groups focused on core banking infrastructure, user experience (UX), market expansion, and fraud risk mitigation

4. Requirements:

• 1–4 years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software development environments

• Production experience with—or a strong, proactive willingness to rapidly learn—Haskell, React, TypeScript, and Redux architectural patterns

• Strong product-centric mindset with a proven professional track record of successfully building and shipping new products from scratch

• Deep capacity to empathize with startup founders and users, translating their pain points into highly user-focused software solutions

• Strong engineering judgment with the ability to balance technical debt, business tradeoffs, and find creative structural solutions

• Experience incorporating modern AI coding tools and LLM assistants to enhance development speed, code quality, and problem-solving

• Effective verbal and written communication skills when collaborating across cross-functional engineering and non-technical teams

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• United States based employees (any location): $122,400.00 to $158,400.00 USD annual base salary

• Canada based employees (any location): $115,700.00 to $149,700.00 CAD annual base salary

• Total compensation package includes competitive base salary, corporate equity incentives (stock options or RSUs), and comprehensive benefits
