About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer specializing in Python and Java to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining sophisticated software applications that align with customer needs and business objectives. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including architecture design, coding, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, architects, and clients, to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions. Your expertise will help shape innovative features and enhance existing systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and usability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master's Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of IT experience with at least 4 years dedicated to software development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language with practical experience in Python and Java.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating APIs and microservices.
• Experience working with cloud computing platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with AI/ML, data science, or advanced analytics, with a commitment to continuous learning in these areas.
• Understanding of the entire SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including data encryption and anonymization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with emerging technologies and a proactive approach to adopting new tools and frameworks.
• Preferred: Experience in AI/ML, web application development, and supply chain domain knowledge.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand use cases, pain points, and technical requirements, advocating for user-centric solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions using appropriate frameworks, programming languages, and methodologies.
• Create high-level architecture designs that define application structure, components, and interfaces, ensuring modularity and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including product owners, UX/UI designers, and system architects, to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Develop and maintain back-end services, APIs, and microservices leveraging server-side technologies.
• Implement and enforce testing strategies, including automated testing, TDD, and quality assurance policies.
• Optimize application performance through code enhancements, architecture improvements, and adoption of new technologies.
• Support deployment processes, including CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth release cycles.
• Apply security best practices to safeguard user data, including encryption, access controls, and data anonymization.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate them into solutions to enhance functionality and efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, architecture, and deployment procedures.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior team members to foster a collaborative environment.
