Senior Software Engineer — Rozafa Consulting

Rozafa Consulting is growing fast, and we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who loves building high-impact platforms, solving complex problems, and working with modern technologies and AI-powered development tools.

Your responsibilities include:

• Building and scaling backend services and APIs
• Developing modern web and mobile applications
• Designing system architecture and leading technical decisions
• Deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Integrating AI/LLM capabilities into products and internal workflows
• Leveraging AI coding assistants to ship faster without compromising quality
• Improving performance, reliability, and security
• Collaborating with product, design, and management teams

We're looking for experience with most of the following:

• Node.js
• TypeScript
• PostgreSQL
• MongoDB
• Redis
• REST APIs
• System design
• React.js
• Next.js
• React Native
• AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Cognito, CloudFront, API Gateway)
• Docker & Docker Compose
• GitHub Actions CI/CD
• AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar
• LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and prompt engineering fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Lead feature development and technical planning
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code
• Use AI tools effectively to accelerate development, code review, and debugging
• Mentor junior developers, including on best practices for AI-assisted workflows
• Analyze and solve complex technical problems
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
• Maintain high standards of performance and security

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software development
• Strong knowledge of Node.js & modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with React and Next.js
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with AWS deployment workflows
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) as part of a daily development workflow
• Familiarity with integrating LLM APIs into production applications is a strong plus
• Strong debugging/problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
• Good communication skills
