About the Role

As a key member of the ElevenLabs Creative team, this role focuses on advancing AI-powered music creation tools. You will be responsible for designing and owning the user interface that enables creators to produce, score, and localize music content. Working closely with research teams, you will translate emerging music models into user-friendly products that can be launched and adopted rapidly. Your work will involve defining the optimal interface for AI-driven music generation, considering various use cases such as video scoring, dubbing, and ad production, each requiring different workflows. You will decompose complex, ambiguous problems into actionable tasks, collaborating across legal, design, engineering, and growth teams to bring your solutions to life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of AI music tools, making them accessible and intuitive for creators worldwide.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in frontend development, with a proven track record of shipping complex, production-level user interfaces using React, TypeScript, or equivalent technologies
• Experience owning ambiguous, zero-to-one product initiatives from problem definition through to launch, without the need for a dedicated project manager or prescriptive backlog
• Proficiency working closely with designers, with a good eye for UX and design principles (Figma experience preferred)
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions such as legal, safety, growth, and design, maintaining stakeholder communication proactively
• Pragmatic decision-making skills, capable of weighing trade-offs and building flexible, modular interfaces that accommodate new models as they are developed
• Experience working with backend systems when necessary to support frontend features

Bonus Qualifications

• Background or hobby in music, audio, or creative tools, such as singing, playing instruments, or music production
• Experience building media-heavy interfaces, including audio, video, or timeline editors
• Familiarity with working alongside machine learning models or research teams
