We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and organized Software Engineer to support software development, application maintenance, testing, debugging, system improvements, and day-to-day engineering activities. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving technical problems, writing clean and reliable code, building software solutions, and supporting business needs in a fully remote environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day software development and engineering activities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Assist with developing new features, applications, and software solutions
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, errors, and technical problems
• Review existing code and identify opportunities for improvement
• Perform software testing, validation, and quality assurance activities
• Assist with API development, integrations, and system connectivity
• Work with databases and data-related systems when required
• Monitor application performance, stability, and reliability
• Investigate technical issues and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve problems
• Maintain accurate and organized technical documentation
• Assist with software deployment, configuration, and release activities
• Support application updates, maintenance, and system improvements
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates
• Help maintain development environments, tools, repositories, and technical systems
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other internal teams
• Follow company engineering standards, security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Identify opportunities to improve software development processes, workflows, and system performance
• Support special software engineering projects and other duties as assigned

✅ Requirements

• Entry-Level / Junior candidates are welcome to apply
• 0–3+ years of experience in software engineering, software development, programming, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required
• Basic understanding of software development principles, programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, Go, or similar
• Familiarity with Git, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, or software development tools is a plus
• Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into software solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams
• Professional, dependable, and results-oriented attitude
• Willingness to learn new programming languages, technologies, frameworks, and development tools
• Relevant software engineering or technical certification is a plus but not required
• Fluent in English
• Based in Germany and legally authorized to work in Germany
• Able to work effectively in a fully remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup
