About the Role

StormGeo is seeking a Software Engineer (Angular) to join our s-Insights team and play a key role in building and enhancing our software products. Your work will directly contribute to delivering cutting-edge products for the maritime industry, supporting safe, efficient, and data-driven decision-making at sea. Your contributions across front-end development will be essential in driving exceptional user experiences and ensuring robust product performance.

This position is open to candidates located within Lithuania, offering flexibility to work remotely or from our offices in Vilnius or Kaunas.

Main Responsibilities

• Modernize & optimize UIs for scalability & performance.
• Build intuitive applications that leverage real-time weather insights.
• Contribute to shared component libraries across teams.
• Work with UX/UI experts to create seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate with a talented, professional team from specifications to deployment & maintenance.

Core Requirements

• 3+ years development experience with Angular in production.
• TypeScript & JavaScript expertise.
• Experience integrating APIs into frontend applications.
• Passion for UI/UX best practices, accessibility & performance.
• Security-aware mindset in front-end development.
• Collaborative team player who enjoys discussing, refining, and improving ideas.
• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
• Proficiency in English (global team collaboration).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Unit, Integration, E2E).
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker) or CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions.
• A proactive, self-driven mindset and passion for innovation.
