Role Description

The Frontend / Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications across both client-side and server-side environments. This role delivers end-to-end software solutions that support business objectives while ensuring excellent user experience, system reliability, and application scalability.

Key responsibilities include developing responsive and interactive frontend interfaces using modern web technologies while ensuring compatibility across browsers and devices. The role translates UI/UX designs into functional components, optimizes application performance, and implements accessibility and usability best practices.

On the backend, the position designs and develops server-side applications, RESTful APIs, databases, and business logic that support application functionality. It is responsible for system architecture, data modeling, authentication, authorization, security, and integration with third-party services to ensure reliable and scalable application performance.

The role participates in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance. It also conducts code reviews, optimizes application performance, resolves technical issues, and contributes to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Collaboration with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams is essential to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver high-quality software. The role also contributes to technical documentation, software architecture improvements, and the adoption of development best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks, along with backend programming languages, frameworks, API development, and server-side architecture.

Solid understanding of web application architecture, RESTful APIs, authentication, authorization, security best practices, and client-server communication.

Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including database design, query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning.

Proficiency with version control systems, software testing methodologies, debugging tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development practices. Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and DevOps concepts is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable technical solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, optimize application performance, and maintain code quality.
