About The Role
As a Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of applications across the full technology stack. You will use PHP, ideally with Laravel, alongside React and SQL to create features, support established systems and help deliver new digital services. The role also involves working with APIs and third-party integrations, investigating technical issues and contributing to cross-platform mobile development using React Native. You will collaborate with colleagues, communicate progress clearly and take part in the practical problem-solving required to deliver reliable software.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a varied range of development tasks, from implementing new functionality to debugging and improving existing applications. You will be expected to approach work with care, consider the impact of changes across connected systems and contribute to testing before solutions are released. The successful candidate will be comfortable working both independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively with others.
Qualifications
We are looking for a developer with at least three years of practical experience using PHP, React and SQL. Experience with Laravel is desirable, as is familiarity with React Native or cross-platform mobile development. You should have experience testing software and ideally have worked with PHPUnit, Cypress or similar automated testing tools.
You will bring strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues methodically and communicate findings clearly. Familiarity with DevOps principles and command-line tools will be useful in supporting development and deployment workflows. A collaborative approach, attention to detail and clear communication are important, as is a willingness to learn, share knowledge and adapt to changing project needs.
