About the Opportunity:

The FULL-STACK SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER role is a technical individual contributor position within the IT Software Engineering team. The engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of internal full-stack web applications and AI-powered conversational bots. This position plays a key role in transitioning internal systems from third-party SaaS tools to customized, agile solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Design and implement AI bots and workflows using large language models, vector search, and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Integrate internal applications with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Ensure code quality through testing, CI/CD pipelines, and operational support including on-call rotations.

Requirements:

• Over 8 years of experience in full-stack web development with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Proficiency in Elasticsearch including data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with AI and bot engineering involving LLM APIs, vector search, and conversational frameworks.
• Regular use of AI coding assistants and responsibility for maintaining high code quality.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD processes, feature flagging, and production support.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The typical starting salary range for this role is 133,100 to 210,600 USD.
• In select locations, including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area, the salary range is 159,900 to 252,900 USD.
• This role does not have a variable compensation component.
• Eligible to participate in the company's stock program.
• Includes a company-matched 401(k) plan with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings.
