Communities.Tech is a Texas and Argentina based stealth startup focused on developing innovative vertical platforms for the construction workforce industry. By leveraging sound business logic and cutting-edge technology, we create solutions that address the diverse needs of these communities.

We are looking for someone who wants to:

• be apart of a small team (less than 15)
• has initiative and loves taking part in the decision-making process, working hand in hand with the product team as they help bringing a feature to life
• uses AI but knows the limitations

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship features across the stack using React/Next.js (TypeScript) and Node.js/Express

• Design and implement REST APIs, integrations, and realtime features

• Work with PostgreSQL for data modeling and query performance

• Build/maintain background jobs and workflows using Redis + BullMQ

• Support search/indexing use cases with Elasticsearch

• Write tests, participate in code review, and improve reliability/performance across the platform

• Collaborate closely with Product/Design to turn requirements into scalable solutions

Frontend: React, TypeScript, Next.js, Sanity, MUI, PrimeReact/PrimeFlex, Playwright,

Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Express, PostgreSQL, Redis, BullMQ, Elasticsearch. Socket.IO

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years building production web applications
• Someone who uses Claude Code, Codex, OhMyPi, etc but knows limitations
• Strong front end experience with React and TypeScript
• Strong Backend experience with Node.js/Express
• Solid understanding of relational data concepts (PostgreSQL)

Nice to Have

• Next.js performance/SSR/App Router experience
• Elasticsearch, queues/background jobs, Stripe or S3 integrations
• Experience with design systems and component libraries (MUI / PrimeReact)
