About The Role

We are seeking a driven and mission-focused Front-end Developer to join our talented team based in Herndon, VA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to projects that support the Intelligence Community, playing a vital part in protecting national security. As a Front-end Developer at MANTECH, you will work alongside software developers, data engineers, and system engineers to design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions. Your work will involve translating complex requirements into functional, user-friendly interfaces that facilitate efficient data analysis and operational effectiveness. This position provides a unique chance to grow your expertise in a collaborative environment while making a meaningful impact on national security initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of educational background and extensive professional experience, including:

• High School Diploma with at least 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Minimum of 3+ years of recent experience developing with Python.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
• Experience in front-end and full-stack development, demonstrating a solid understanding of modern web technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  
  

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Understanding project requirements and designing and developing robust software components.
• Researching and prototyping new software concepts, developing proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Collaborating with team members to understand existing product features and identify areas for improvement.
• Developing automated unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Participating in code reviews and actively engaging in the agile development process to ensure continuous improvement.
