Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an API Developer at Dai hoc Giao Thông Vân Tai. The API Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain APIs that integrate internal systems and external services, ensuring reliable data exchange and performance. Daily tasks include implementing secure endpoints, writing clean and maintainable code, documenting API specifications, and troubleshooting integration issues. The role also involves collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to understand requirements, improve existing integrations, and support ongoing digital projects. The API Developer is expected to follow best practices in security, scalability, and version control while working independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in backend programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or Node.js) and RESTful API development.
• Experience with API design tools and standards (e.g., OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON, XML, HTTP methods, and status codes).
• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL or NoSQL), data modeling, and efficient query design.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, JWT, API keys) and secure coding practices.
• Experience with version control and collaboration tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Previous experience in remote or distributed development environments and strong time-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
