About The Role

We are seeking two talented Full Stack Engineers to join GrabJobs' innovative team in a remote capacity, focusing on the MENA region. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a pioneering fintech startup that is redefining cross-border banking and payments infrastructure. As a Full Stack Engineer at GrabJobs, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and scaling a robust platform that facilitates seamless and compliant international money movement. You will operate as a technical generalist, taking ownership of end-to-end system development, from conceptualization to deployment, while influencing product direction and engineering culture. This role offers a unique chance to work at the forefront of financial technology, impacting millions of users across borders and contributing to the evolution of global finance infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including successfully taking products from initial concept to production and scaling.
• Experience working within a leading fintech, crypto, or related technology company.
• Proficiency in React / React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, Supabase, and AWS cloud services.
• Strong full-stack development capabilities spanning frontend frameworks, backend services, and cloud infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude-CLI, Cursor, or similar workflows.
• High level of personal drive, ownership mentality, and adaptability to an early-stage startup environment.
  
  

Bonus points include experience with banking, payments, or compliance API integrations, knowledge of ledgering systems, settlement flows, stablecoins, blockchain-based payments, or crypto rails, and familiarity with global FX markets and cross-border financial flows. Arabic language skills are also considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable services and user-facing features from initial concept through to production, ensuring high reliability and performance.
• Architect distributed systems capable of handling increasing transaction volumes globally with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate closely with customers and partners to gather feedback and iterate rapidly, aligning product development with real user needs and market demands.
• Make informed technical decisions, balancing rapid execution with long-term scalability, and selecting appropriate technologies for each challenge.
• Operate as a full-stack owner, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend components and maintaining system health.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to establishing best practices within the engineering team.
