We're looking for a Software Engineer – Data Integrations to support a growing U.S.-based education technology company.

This role is focused on backend/data integrations: working with external systems, APIs, CSV/JSON files, databases, and data transformation workflows. The ideal candidate should be able to ingest, map, normalize, validate, and structure data from different sources into a clean internal model.

Relevant experience:

• Backend, Full Stack, or Data Integration experience

• Python, Node.js, or TypeScript

• MongoDB, DuckDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar

• REST APIs

• CSV / JSON data processing

• Data mapping, validation, and transformation

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Strong English communication skills

• Experience working remotely with U.S.-based teams is a plus

Nice to have:

• Experience with education technology or school systems

• Experience with data pipelines, ETL, or integration tools

• Experience with AI tools, GenAI, LangChain, MCP, or AI-assisted development

• Experience with logging, monitoring, or production support

This is not a pure frontend role. The main focus is backend, data integrations, and working with real-world data from different systems.

• Candidates must be based in Mexico.
