About The Role
In this role, you take ownership of the

.NET engineers and an Angular developer, drive key engineering decisions, and ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and reliable. With an AWS partnership, you will build a
cloud-native solution that connects laboratory instruments to the
cloud, enabling remote monitoring, fleet management, and predictive maintenance in a GxP-regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of backend & frontend microservices using .NET 8+/C#, Angular, and ASP.NET Core on AWS
- Translate the target architecture into service boundaries, API contracts, and implementation plans together with the Solutions Architect
- Design REST APIs and event-driven components for instrument telemetry ingestion, device state, alerts, and service workflows
- Integrate backend services with AWS IoT Core, Kinesis, Lambda, SQS/SNS, and time-series and relational data stores
- Own engineering standards: code reviews, unit and integration testing, secure coding, and documentation
- Define API contracts upfront with OpenAPI to enable parallel frontend, IoT, and QA work
- Break down features, estimate effort, and refine backlog with the BA and Program Manager
- Mentor engineers and support their technical growth
- Participate in client technical discussions, architecture reviews, and demos
Requirements
- 7+ years of commercial experience with .NET/C#, including 2+ years in a technical lead role
- Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core, microservices, and distributed system design
- Familiarity with Angular or modern frontend architecture
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging (Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ, or MQTT-based flows)
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL data modeling, including time-series data
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
- Strong understanding of security practices: OAuth 2.0/OIDC, encryption, least-privilege access
- Experience leading code reviews, technical decisions, and estimation
- Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) and confidence communicating with client stakeholders
- Background in life healthcare, or other regulated domains: GxP, FDA, HIPAA (as an advantage)
- Experience with validated systems and computer system validation CSV/CSA (as a plus)
